Tara Stack, CVT, BAS - VETTC

Tara grew up in Wisconsin and has had an interest in animal care from a young age.  After majoring in biology at The University of Wisconsin, she went on to St. Petersburg College earning a BAS in Advanced Clinical Veterinary Technology.  Tara obtained her Veterinary Technician Certification by completing national and state board examinations.  Her interest in animal care and strength in the study of science stimulated her to advance her career by becoming Certified in Veterinary Dentistry in 1999 and achieving Veterinary Nutritional Advisor status in 2010.   In addition to 18 years in veterinary emergency and critical care facilities, Tara has completed an intense internship in holistic veterinary medicine.  When she isn't studying medical advances or spending time caring for patients, Tara enjoys sharing her time with her 11 year old twin daughters, as well as her Jack Russel mix Raleigh and Guinea Pigs Manly and Chewie.

Len Mallozzi, BS - Animal Science

Born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Len is a true Floridian born north.  Len exchanged frost bite for sunburn when he moved to Port Charlotte in the 1980's.  As a youngster, Len would often nurture injured wildlife to health and boasted a variety of pets of his own which sparked his interest in veterinary medicine.  This childhood interest became a career when, after meeting a local veterinarian, Len secured employment as a veterinary technichian and enjoyed 15 years with this practice.   During this time Len obtained a BS in Animal Science from Penn State University.  Throughout his career Len has continued his education. particularly in the areas of anesthesia and dentistry.  Uncovering his hidden talents, one would discover that Len is an accomplished florist, plays piano and considers himself a good cook.  When away from work, Len spends his time puttering around his home, relaxing on the beach and fishing.
