Englewood Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS)

Englewood Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS) is an organization that Dr. Groves offers assistance to. EARS Animal Rescue Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization which dedicates itself to realistic care-for-life goals. They align with other humane organizations to promote maximum adoption of friendly, healthy pets; to better educate the public on responsible pet ownership; to microchip and bring current vaccinations to pets in their program; and ultimately create a respected care-for-life facility.

Golden Retriever Rescue

Gulf Coast Golden Retriever Rescue is another organization that Groves Veterinary Clinic works closely with. Gulf Coast Golden Retriever Rescue Inc. is an all volunteer, 501(c)3, non-profit organization devoted to the rescue, foster care, and placement of displaced Golden Retrievers who have been abandoned, abused, or surrendered by their owners. Located in Southwest Florida, Gulf Coast Golden Retriever Rescue serves the rescue needs of Charlotte County as well as bordering communities along the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Florida Boxer Rescue

Groves Veterinary Clinic is proud to work with Florida Boxer Rescue. Florida Boxer Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit volunteer organization. They strive to rescue unwanted and abandoned purebred Boxers in central and western Florida and place them in safe, responsible, loving, permanent homes. Dr. Groves provides veterinary care for the Boxer's awaiting adoption. For additional information, please visit www.flbr.org.

USDA Accredidation

Dr. Groves has received his National Veterinary Accredidation from the United States Department of Agriculture.  Accredited veterinarians work cooperatively with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and state animal health officials to protect and improve the health, quality, productivity and marketability of animals by preventing, controlling and eradicating livestock diseases.  Accredited veterinarians also help to ensure that exported  animals do not introduce diseases to other states or countries.
